This module exploits an out of bounds function table dereference in the SMB request validation code of the SRV2.SYS driver included with Windows Vista, Windows 7 release candidates (not RTM), and Windows 2008 Server prior to R2.
So, I am getting ready for our capstone project in my cyber security class and we are tasked with attacking and getting root access on our classmate's network. The topology is set for the project: an external connection that is public to everyone connected to a Server 2k8 R2 sp1 box acting as NAT through RRAS for the 'internal' network. The internal network will be 2 2k8 R2 boxes and a Win7 box. All are going to be patched and with the latest updates, but they didn't specify AV software.
My question is, what exploits will work in metasploit (or any other attack tool) that will allow me to gain access into the machines so that I can complete the project, e.g. like MS08_067_netapi for 2k3/XP?

The only kinds of attacks I'm able to find are based on java vulnerabilities and will require a user to go to the link/page. This attack has to be without the requirement of user action, so no Social engineering attacks are allowed.
