Will Solidworks 2013 Run On Windows 10

I am seriously considering upgrading to Windows 10 while it's still free, but the one thing holding me back is the fact that I own a legit copy of Solidworks 2013 for freelance work and no matter what I have to retain its functionality (it's worth more than my computer). I will absolutely not upgrade because now you HAVE to have a subscription or they bill you for all past versions when you reinstate, basically meaning I'd just have to buy a whole new license at this point (not worth it).

Can you run SW 2013 in Windows 10 without any serious functionality lost? Is Win 7 compatibility mode good enough? It's technically running in a virtual machine on a Mac (performance is fine, please don't derail), so I could hypothetically have a Win 7 VM and a Win 10 VM, but then I'd have a licensing hassle and I might have to buy another Win 7 license to do that, at which point I may as well just buy a Win 10 license later on after SP 1 or 2 and leave my Win 7 VM alone. I use my VM for other Windows stuff as well (games and other Win-only applications), so eventually I will have to leave Win 7 behind, so figuring out a plan for the future is something I should start doing now. Worst case is I have to have a Win 7 machine for SW and another one for everything else later on.

Thoughts?
